The 1861 Navy revolver, produced from 1861 to 1872, was the most famous model of the cap-and-ball era for good reasons. This 6-shot revolver offers perfect balance, precise aim, and functional dependability. The 1861 model contains features from both the original 1861 Navy model and the improved 1860 Army model. This 1861 Civilian revolver features a case hardened forged steel frame, brass triggerguard and backstrap, round barrel, Navy roll-engraved cylinder, Navy size walnut grip, and improved 1860 ratchet style loading lever. A conversion cylinder is available for this model that is a drop-in conversion to smokeless .38LC ammunition.
