Rifles are protected by the 5mm closed-cell foam padding with plastic insert and 210D Polyester liner while the tough 400D PVC coated Polyester covers the exterior. The adjustable quick release buckle and strap cinch down over the pistol grip, securing the firearm. A reinforced muzzle area protects flash hiders and muzzle breaks. The scabbard also allows magazines to stay safe while in the rifle with the nylon zipper down as the snap button strap secures the rifle in this position.
