Kensight Front Sight 1911 Novak Cut Flat Base .115″ Width Steel Black Serrated Blade with White Dot

This Kensight 1911 Front Sight incorporates a Bright White Dot on the blade as a focal point that helps naturally draw the shooter’s eye to the front post. The front sight’s white dot is composed of a 0.070″ Diameter ABS Plastic Ball that is countersunk into the sight blade’s face, meaning it will not fade or flake off over time like a dot that is simply painted on. In order to ensure the strength and integrity of their front sights, Kensight Wire-EDM machines them from 4140 Chrome Moly Steel and then heat treats the completed parts to a hardness of RC 38-40.

This Front Sight comes equipped with a 0.115″ Wide Blade that is slanted forward and Partially Serrated for reduced glare. It features a Flat Base that is optimal for use with a flat-topped slide or for those who intend to file and blend the front sight base to match the contour of their pistol’s slide for a seamless installation. Compatible with Novak type front sight dovetail cuts (0.330″ x 65 Degree x 0.075″) as typically found on both customized and factory 1911 pistols.
